The problem

The Episode Signature Series combined high-fidelity sound with a snap-and-click installation, and SnapAV needed a digital experience that matched the product’s innovation. The microsite had to communicate the speakers’ quality and easy installation, guide both dealers and homeowners through the lineup, and unify Episode’s sub-brands — subwoofers, outdoor speakers, and soundbars — under a refreshed visual identity across digital and print.

My role

This was one of my first micro-brand sites for SnapAV. I designed the experience and visual design, working with product managers, product marketing managers, and the creative director.

The approach

I was early in bringing UX best practices into my work, so it was a learning experience of trial and error. I experimented with navigation paths, content hierarchy, and interactive elements like carousels, gradually building an understanding of customer journeys. The site was built in WordPress, with a distinctive dark palette that gave the Signature Series a high-end, premium feel.

The result

The microsite was met with overwhelmingly positive feedback. Many dealers asked for other microsites to follow the same design, and the branding carried over into banners, print ads, and Instagram posts, strengthening brand awareness for Episode. The project marked a turning point in how we approached digital brand storytelling.
