The problem
A new smart home lighting product line needed launch visuals, but the product wasn’t fully built or installed yet.
The approach
I used Midjourney to generate initial room concepts, then refined them in Adobe Firefly to show realistic spaces with controllable lighting. The key was writing thoughtful prompts and adjusting lighting conditions, room layouts, and ambience to match the product’s vision.
The mockups became a collaboration tool with the photographer, creative director, product marketing managers, and product development managers. Sharing early concepts helped us agree on tone and feel, and gave the team a starting point to refine messaging, photography, and design.
The result
The approach saved time and kept the final visuals consistent with the product’s identity and with what stakeholders expected.
