Heat Mapping Trade Show Insights

This project demonstrates how surveillance cameras and heat map software were used to analyze traffic flow and product engagement at trade shows. By tracking visitor movements and identifying hotspots within the booth, we gained valuable insights into customer interests and behavior, enabling more strategic booth designs and product placements.

The Process

Using surveillance cameras equipped with heat map software, I monitored visitor activity throughout the trade show booth. The software captured real-time data on high-traffic areas, dwell times, and product interactions. This information was analyzed to identify which products garnered the most attention and which areas experienced lower engagement.

The insights from these heat maps informed the redesign of booth layouts, optimizing pathways and display arrangements for future events. This process also allowed us to test the effectiveness of product placement and promotional materials, refining strategies to better align with visitor behavior. Collaborating with marketing and event teams, we ensured the booth layout maximized visibility and engagement while enhancing the overall customer experience.
