The problem
Christa’s Take, a local jewelry brand run by a friend, needed a seasonal refresh of its imagery so its posters, website, and social media reflected the luxury and sophistication of the brand — with a small budget.
My role
I led the creative direction, stepping into an art director role for the shoot.
The approach
I sourced a local photographer and model and chose locations — a poolside setting and a scenic park — to evoke spring and summer. On set, I worked closely with the photographer and model to balance lighting, composition, and storytelling, capturing the jewelry in natural, elegant settings that fit the brand’s look and marketing goals.
The result
A collection of high-end visuals that elevated the brand’s presence. The photos were used on posters, the website, and social media for three to four years, until the business closed.
